Making Change Easy

Making Change Easy - A four week challenge

Shortly before Christmas 2008 I embarked on my first four week challenge: To use a Centerpointe Autofonix subliminal CD. The challenge, using the CD Making Change Easy, turned out to be very, very useful to me…for reasons I didn’t expect. As I am currently importing all the articles I wrote on meditation and subliminal CDs to Personal Development Forum I also decided to republish the blog entries as well. Readers should note though that the dates will be confused as the challenge has already been done and completed. Aside from that, I hope you enjoy reading as much as I did doing.

Friday December 5, 2008 - Day Zero

Introduction

I have decided to set myself a four week challenge using Centerpointe technology and one of their programs to really scrutinize the results that I get and test the quality of the product offered.

During this four week challenge I will use the Making Change Easy CD that customers for the Awakening Prologue program receive as a free gift shortly after purchasing the introductory Holosync® package.

Making Change Easy is one of seven additional soundtracks produced by Centerpointe and is a little different to the Awakening Prologue. Each of these soundtracks is made to produce a specific effect in the listener as compared to the main Holosync® program that avoids explicitly defining what the listener will achieve or experience, preferring to allow the meditator to go with the flow and open himself to his own unique, personal insight.

Making Change Easy, as the title suggests, seeks to open the mind of the listener to change. Other titles in the series (which can be purchased individually by Awakening Prologue customers) include Perfect Health, Attracting Love, Attracting Money and Success, Total Self Confidence, Easy Weight Loss and Total Creativity. Various of these titles are of interest to me and, depending on my reaction to Making Change Easy, I may well be purchasing more CDs in this series.

This range of CDs use the Holosync® technology to induce a theta brain wave state that opens the unconscious mind and creates a state of receptivity. Behind the audio inaudible affirmations have been recorded using the innovative Autofonix® silent communication technology developed by Centerpointe. This technology uses encoded affirmations broadcast on a modulated frequency signal that is naturally decoded by the ear and brain. As well as impacting the unconscious mind, these signals also have a revitalizing effect on the brain.

For anyone that is worried, a list of the recorded affirmations is presented in the CD case. Some examples include ‘Change is natural’, ‘It is safe to let go’, ‘As I change my life improves in every way’ and ‘I release the past, accept the present and look forward to the future with happiness.’ All of the affirmations are benign in nature and are geared towards positive change.

I have chosen to pursue this four week challenge using Making Change Easy because I feel that I already have a good and healthy attitude about change. I already believe it is natural and feel that I cope well with change. Therefore I am keen to experience any ways in which my state of mind can be further enhanced by Holosync® and Autofonix® technology. I am therefore not looking to change my life at a fundamental level as much as I am expecting to develop an even more flexible approach to life by accepting change to an even greater degree.

As for the challenge itself, I will conduct this experiment for the next four weeks by using the CD five days a week (Monday through to Friday) and as often as I can on weekends. If my (young) children are around however this can be difficult and I would prefer to listen to the audio without interruption or interference (or noise!).

Weekdays I wake at 6am, do some work catching up on emails and networking and then generally start reading sometime around 6:30 to 7am. I intend to listen to the CD while studying and learning. This is part of the test also. The instructions for the use of the subliminal CD stress that the best results will be obtained while sitting upright and only listening to the soundtrack. Like many others though, I am busy with one thing or another and I feel therefore that a fairer and more accurate test for both myself and those reading this on the usefulness and effectiveness of the CD should incorporate an element of real world intrusion. If I am impressed enough with the results I may set aside a specific time to concentrate fully on the audio. One final point to make is that the audio lasts for 30 minutes.

This morning I listened to the soundtrack for the first time to get a feel for the program. The audio is very well produced as one would expect from the excellent Holosync® CD range. In doing my preliminary listening to the soundtrack and subliminal messages this morning (while reading) I was surprised at how I could feel my brain working in a new way, at the deeper theta level. The difference was most apparent at the end of the 30 minute session when the music stopped and I was suddenly aware of how deeply I had gone into a meditative state.

My initial reaction therefore is that I am very impressed. I do not expect that reading while listening will be problematic and I am ready to begin the challenge properly next Monday. I will be writing a daily blog with comments on my experiences and feelings as they occur.

Stay tuned!
