Baker

Man vs. Debt

Within a year of marrying, Baker and his wife found themselves owing over $80,000 (excluding mortgage payments...and the payments on an 8-unit apartment building!). With the birth of his first child however things changed for Baker and his wife. Finally deciding that enough was enough the couple set about getting their finances with the further plan of living in Australia for a couple of years (a dream they are now realizing!).

Though still owing a significant amount on student loans, Baker and his wife are today much closer to realizing their dream of spending an extended time in Oz.

In his blog Baker discusses different aspects of personal finance. You can read more at Man Vs. Debt.
